FACULTY OF EDUCATION RULES TO BE APPLIED IN EXAMS
- Students taking the exam must have their identity cards on their desks. Students without identification will not be admitted to the exam.
- Students taking the exam should not bring mobile phones or any communication and electronic devices into the exam hall. Those who are obliged to bring them due to unavoidable reasons must leave all mobile phones and other devices where the exam supervisor indicates. If it is determined that the student has any such item on or around them during the exam, a report will be prepared, and the student’s exam papers will be confiscated. The Faculty of Education is not responsible if mobile phones or similar devices are lost; the responsibility lies entirely with the students.
- Students must arrive at the Faculty at least 15 minutes before the exam and check which hall they will take the exam in from the announcement area. Students arriving after the first 15 minutes of the exam, during which students are allowed to leave the exam room, will not be admitted. In the event of entering the wrong room or taking the exam for the wrong course, the responsibility lies entirely with the students, and no claims can be made.
- The seating arrangement in the exam hall is the responsibility of exam invigilators. They are authorized to change the student’s place if deemed necessary before or during the exam.
- Any student who leaves the exam hall for any reason during the exam will not be readmitted.
- Students present in the classroom during the distribution of questions are considered to have taken the exam. It is not possible to leave the exam without signing the exam form and submitting the exam paper.
- Asking questions to the invigilators during the exam is prohibited, except for errors that may occur in the questions.
- During the exam, filling in the identity information on the answer sheets, and signing with a ballpoint pen is mandatory.
- With the permission of the instructor of the course, during the exam, tools such as calculators, dictionaries, and account plans can be used (mobile phones cannot be used as calculators). In addition, it is forbidden to change tools such as erasers, pencils, and calculators during the exam.
- Exam invigilators will prepare a report if students disrupt the rules, order, and operation of the exam, prevent the exam from taking place, or insult the exam invigilators. Action will be taken against these students.
- Any writings on the desks or other equipment in the exam hall must be erased by the students sitting at those desks. Otherwise, the responsibility lies entirely with the students.
- If students are caught cheating or attempting to cheat, a report will be prepared and handed over to the responsible instructor. Students caught cheating or attempting to cheat do not need to be warned.
